Living Waters Consultants and Aenon Consultants teamed to provide Hydraulic Modeling and Engineering Services for Dam Breach Analysis. Warren Levis Lake is a 35-acre lake with a 530 acre-feet storage capacity. The drainage area is 5.5 square miles. Modeling studies included Hydraulic Analyses, Hydrologic Evaluation, HEC-1 analysis, FEQ modeling analysis, and permit submittals to Illinois DNR / OWR for dam breach scenarios. Flood events analyzed ranging from the 100-year flood to the 1.0 Probable Maximum Flood. The analysis extended approximately 3 miles downstream of the dam spillway area.
