Watershed Flood Control Engineering and Planning Services were provided for an 8.2 square mile watershed covering three municipal communities. Engineering Services included GIS Mapping, Watershed Inventory, Flood Assessment, Flood Mitigation Design, Cost Estimates, and other services. Study findings included low-cost methods to increase flood storage by 480 acre-feet - a 65% increase in the 100-year flood storage volume. BMPs were described for flood management and water quality including stream erosion problem areas, wetland restoration project areas, riparian vegetation problem areas, and other action items.
