Colonial Villages
The Colonial Villages Shoreline Stabilization Project was performed for a private company. The area experienced urban runoff, causing water level flux in Meacham Creek reservoir. Excessive turf grass and goose herbivory contributed to erosion. This led to problems including loss of shoreline, water quality impacts, loss of recreational value, reduced property values, and a goose infestation.
